ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sarika Bajpai

Ms. Sarika bajpai, graduated in tourism from college of vocational studies, Delhi university, in 2001. She did MA in Tourism management from Madurai, in 2003. She has been faculty in Tourism at Khazani Women’s Polytecnic, new Delhi (July, 2004-July, 2005), Guest lecturer in Tourism, College of Vocational Studies, new Delhi (July, 2005 –September, 2005), Guest Lecturer in Tourism, Miranda College, Delhi (October, 2005 –march, 2006.  She has been equally involved in travel industry. She is presently co-ordinator, Corporate sales at Catican Travels, New Delhi.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Virender Kaul

Virender Kaul, a Goldmedalist from Kashmir University, is a senior-most teacher in the Department of economics, College of Vocational Studies, Delhi University. He joined the College in 1977. He has been teaching economics and also P.G. Tourism specially Economics of Tourism. He started teaching in Regional Engineering College, Srinagar (J&K) in 1973. His project work on planning tourism in Jammu and Kashmir State, written in 1970 was highly appreciated by the state Government. He also worked in NCAER on World Bank projects during 1975-1977.
