ABOUT THE AUTHOR Amit Jha
He did his graduation (1984-87) and post graduation (1987-89) in history from Hansraj College, Delhi. He completed his M.Phll ((1993) and Ph.D (2001) from the Deptt. of History (North Campus) Delhi University. Since 1993, He has been teaching Ancient Indian History at Sri Aurobindo College (day), Delhi University. He has worked on one minor project and three major projects sponsored by the UGC.
