ABOUT THE AUTHOR Subhadra Menon

Subhadra Menon has been a health and science writer for nearly two decades. As a print journalist, Menon was with the India Today magazine for five years; before that she wrote for Frontline, New Scientist, Scientific American, Times of India, Economic Times and Indian Express. She has also reported and written for BBC World and Reuters Health. Menon holds a doctoral degree in reproductive ecology from the University of Delhi.
