ABOUT THE AUTHOR W.J. Culshaw

W.J. Culshaw was a Christian missionary who lived and worked in Bankura district of Santal Pargana between 1932 and 1943. He spent his time working in various villages of the district. His scholarly nature prompted him to gather material on santals and Letu shape it up in the form of a book with the help of suitable and authentic source materials. In doing this work, he could manage the help of some local santali christians also.
