ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sipra Sen

Smt. Sipra Sen is an ex-Cottonian, Guwahati. She obtained her M.Sc. degree in Anthropology and B.Lib. Sc. (Delhi) and I.A.S.L.I.C. (Calcutta). Her name has been included in Marguis Who’s Who Directory of Online Professionals, Chicago, USA and Union List, I.N.S.D.C., New Delhi. a noted bibliographer, she has published a number of research articles. Her earlier books The Tribes of Meghalaya (1985), Aruachal Pradesh and the Tribes: Select Bibliography (1986) and Tribes of Nagaland (1987) are valuable contributions to the literature on social Sciences of North Eastern Region of India. She is serving as a Librarian in anthropological Survey of India, Shillong.
