The Tribes of Central Asia: From the Black Mountain to Waziristan, originally published in 1912 by H.C Willy who was serving the British Regiment in the 1890s. The book gives a vast narration of the tribes of the Northwest and the military relations the British had with the tribes. It can be realized that this is the real experience of the want of something of the kind in the early autumn of 1897, when the second Battalion of Willy’s corps was ordered to join the Tirah Expeditionary Force. They had not any idea of West of the Indus where they had to fight against the wild men of that wild country. Simple and lucid in style of analysis of the events so that everyone can easily read without much strain. The description by H.C Willy is more turbulent of the tribes beyond the border, the lands they lived and the campaigns, which had been undertaken against them during the second half of the last century, and the beginning of this century.
