ABOUT THE AUTHOR Doug Anderson

Doug Anderson has illustrated over 70 books, serious and humorous, for adults and for children since he started to work as a freelance artist in New York. The first drawing he ever sold went to The New Yorker, and since then his artwork has appeared in most of the major magazines in USA, among them are Fortune, Good Housekeeping, Reader's Digest, Gourmet, Seventeen, This Week, and The New Yorker, as well as newspapers including The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The Washington Post. He has written several books, among them Eye Spy, on which this book is based, New Things to Draw and How to Draw Them, and How to Draw with the Light Touch. For several years, he was a monthly contributor to the highly respected Theater Arts magazine and articles have also appeared under his name in the New York Times travel section and in the American Artist magazine.
