ABOUT THE AUTHOR Bonomali Goswami

Bonomali Goswami (b. 1932) has three novels in Bengali, one novel in English and several short stories in English to his credit. His short stories have been published in America and broadcast in the BBC World Service. During a longish chequered career he has served as a clerk, magistrate, publicity officer and is now the editor in a Central University.
