Value Inculcation: A Path to Happiness, proposes that, both the root of suffering as well as happiness lie within us. Further, traditional values such as altruism, critical self analysis, forgiveness and detachment are key determinants of a happy state of mind. This promise has been empirically demonstrated by using value related group interventions on three different age groups namely, children, adolescents and young adults. Dr. Swasti Shrimali Vohra, M.a. Ph.D., Applied Psychology, University of Delhi, over 17 years of teaching, research and training experience in Social Psychology and Counselling at the Post Graduate level, member of leading national and international professional associations in internationally accredited, APH abstracted referred journals. Research and training grants from ICSSR, UGC & NCERT in India and from NSF, REBT, CCL, Post Graduate Center for Mental Health USA. Worked on an NSF sponsored international corss-cultural research project at University of Pennsylvania. Visiting scholar at Fordham, Ackerman Institute of Family Therapy and Annenberg School of Communication (Philadelphia). Received formal 2-3 years training in individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy, REBT and leadership effectiveness from recognized institutes in U.S.A. Presented research papers at several National and International conferences. Supervised Doctoral dessertations and over 40 masters research projects and fieldwork in diverse areas of Social Psychology. One book published by Ane Books.
