The objectives of writing this book are as following:- The book has been written as per VCI syllabus. As per VCI syllabus one extra course "General veterinary Parasitology" has incorporated which was not in the old syllabus. Obviously most of the books devoid of this part and very often, the problem is faced t by the students as well as teachers Keeping this point in vie, the general part has been distributed very meticuslosly in this book, It is found that the students always fall in question "What to read and what not?" from the large voluminous books. Henceforth, it is longleft matter to have such a book wherein the important matter would be described in detail, the less important matter in somewhat in less detail and the unimportant matter would simply be avoided. This book is obviously so. Now, time has come to provide slight touch of molecular Parasitology and recent information even to the UG students. Who does not want to update the recent information to their students at least in brief? The recent information has been provided in this book which the students can easily extract to strengthen their answer more standard.
