Veterinary Surgery- A practical guide is basically prepared as per new VCI syllabus for students and field veterinarians. It comprised three units (I. Dr. A.M. Patel is Head of Commerce Faculty and Incharge Principla of Arts and Commerce College, Khedbrahma Dist. S.K. Which is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. The author is having 20 years teaching experience at graduation and Post-graduation level. The author is a renowned writer writing informative papers, in state and national level magazines and books with special referene to accounting. Moreover, he is an important asset and an important visitor participant and paper presenter for the state, national and international level conferences held in this country from time to time.

Dr. P.B. Patel, graduated in veterinary science from Gujarat Agricultural University in 1987 and joined as Veterinary Officer with in-service post graduate students in same University. He completed his M.V.Sc. in 1990 and Ph.D in 1996 in same University. He is author of more than 50 research papers in national and international journals and more than 25 popular articles and five booklets. He was awarded with five gold medals and best teacher award. He is at present, working as Professor and Head, Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh.
