Dr. P. Saravanan obtained his Ph.D in Medical Microbiology from university of Madras. His area of specialization in Virology and has been well trained in the virological and molecular biological techniques from national referral Centres in India. He has produced about 10 publications in international and national journals of repute. He has about 5 years of teaching experience in virology. Molecular biology and recombinant DNA technology. he has done one year post-doctoral research and has gained acquaintance with molecular virological techniques at Laboratory of Pediatric and respiratory Viral Diseases, Centre for Biologics Evaluation and research, FDA, Maryland, USA.
