Chanakya had been one of the foremost torchbearers and pillars of Indian history and culture. He has been driven by a grand dream of consolidating the whole of India into one strong political unit for the country’s glory. He accomplished it as is evident from the stunning defeat chandra Gupta gave to the Greek invader Sileucus and extended his Mauryan Empire beyond Takshashila and Kabul. Chanakya had not only been a diplomat in action, an empire builder, he has also been an author of statistics and law.
