ABOUT THE AUTHOR Reema Kaul

Dr. Reema Kaul has been teaching at the Criminal Justice Department at Calcutta University since 1993. She has a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. She graduate from the Algappa University with a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Criminal Justice. She received a B.A. in Sociology from Jadapur University. Previously, Dr. Kaul worked for nine years at the Berhampur University as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Coordinator of Criminal Justice; and, as Assistant Chair of social Sciences Department. She was also a Program Review Specialist at the Anna University department of Correctional Facility review Specialist, and an Adult probation and Parole Officer. Dr. Kaul has received the full bright Scholar Award, which allowed her the opportunity to teach at different renowned places in country.
