Women and the Law

The book is an incisive searching analysis of the pressing legal issues resulting from the numerous problems women face, including low pay, sexual harassment, flexible working conditions, parental rights and discrimination. Locating women’s service status within the social unit of the family as a contributory factor to their continued disadvantage within the paid workforce, it assesses how such a position makes women more prone to the issues they confront.
