Women and Water Management: The Latin American Experience

"This book argues that the active participation of women is critical for ensuring sustainable use of water resources. Women’s role in water management has hitherto been seen only in the context of the provision or use of water in households and communities. The contributors to this volume suggest that though these roles are important, women can play larger and more significant roles in relation to water management, namely as decisionmakers, planners, managers and research scientists."
