Women Employees: Status and Satisfaction

Effective functioning of an organisation-private, public and cooperatives-depends on the efficient management of its resources such as men, money, materials and machine. Present book proposes to focus on manpower management, particularly, the gender dimension and its implications in a changing social environment. Hence, the following aspects of women employees of cooperatives, are covered: social status, their position in the employment hierarchy, attitudinal environment, their perception towards personnel policies and practices of cooperatives, job satisfaction and legal aids to women employees.
