ABOUT THE AUTHOR George O. Tsobanoglou

George O. Tsobanoglou, B.A., M.A., Mac Master Universiy, Canada. He was guest Researcher at the Work-Life Centre, Stockholm, the Institute of Sociology, University of Oslo, Staff Researcher at the Institute of Social Research, Oslo, Norway, London School of Economics and taught at Carleton University and the University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He teaches at the Sociology Department, University of the Aegean, Mytilini, Greece and directs the Sociology of Work Laboratory there. His areas of interest are: social integration and local development, equality issues, social inclusion and the social economy across the world. He is the President of the International Sociological Association, Research Committee on Sociotecnics- Sociological Practice, (ISA-RC26).
