Women’s Health and Social Issues

In this book we lead the campaign to address long overlooked women's issues in health care. The urgency mounts as the national debate on health care reform takes place. Social workers have a vital role to play in the effort to achieve adequacy and equity in women's health care, and this book will assist them in accomplishing that goal. Women's Health and Social Issues provides insights into a range of women's health needs and feminist perspectives for understanding and dealing with them.
