The book is decided into eight chapters first, consists of introduction, second concentrates on the methodology, Third, focuses on the attitudes of the working women towards the aged, fourth emphasizes on gender bias in care of the aged, fifth deals with the aspects of life of the working women and care of the aged, sixth discusses how does the aged’s care get effected by motives of the working women? Seventh explains the relationship between socio economic status of the working women and care of the aged and eight gives conclusions and suggestions.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Poornima Jain

Dr. (Mrs.) Jain is Head of the department of sociology and political Science at D.E.I. (Deemed University) Agra and Ex-Dean of the faculty of Social Sciences. She has passed her M.A. (Sociology) from the Institute of Social Sciences, Agra University, Agra and had received gold Medal for securing Ist position. She has done her M.Phil. and Ph.D. (Sociology) from J.N.U., New Delhi. She has attended more than fifty five National and International Seminars and conferences and has presented papers. She has organized two national seminars and has been Governor and chairperson of various technical sessions at National Seminars. She has been invited to deliver special lectures. She had been member of the Advisary committee of the UGC Academic Staff college A.M.U. Aligrah. Her an other book an "Social Development with reference to Jain, Christian and Sikh seets in Agra," is under publication by Rawat Publications, Jaipur.
