ABOUT THE AUTHOR G. Pankajam
Dr. (Ms.) G. Pankajam had her education at Gandhigram Rural University, Coimbatore Avinashilingam University, M.S. University, Baroda. SNDT Women’s University Bombay and M.K. University, Madurai. Her basic qualifications and interest are Home Science and Education. She has written 15 books both in Tamil and English and about 100 articles in various journals and magazines. These books have been widely used by the academics, administrators, social welfare departments and NGOs. She has been working as Lecturer, Professor and Principal of Lakshmi College of Education at Gandhigram and now she is consultant to many educational institutions. She was warded the Alumni Achievement Award by M.S. University, Baroda and Best Principal Award by Government of Tamil Nadu. Dr. Pankajam has attended and organized many workshops, seminars, conferences, short-term courses at the State, National and International levels and presented her papers. She had been to Bangkok, Singapore, Australia, Japan and England and present papers in International Conferences. She was awarded the Fulbright Fellowship by United Stares of America and was a visiting Professor in Southern University in New Orleans. She visited many universities, colleges and schools in USA and delivered lecturers.
