The onset of Twentieth Century finds a renewed interest in traditional Indian Philosophical systems, especially Advaita vedanta. Varying interpretations of traditional Vedantic view in the light of contemporary life situations and independent original philosophizing basically grounded in Indian tradition and, to great extent, influenced by western terminology and style is the characteristic of the philosophical thinking in India during this period.
