K.M. Khan (b. 1957) is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Science. Mangalore University and he has been holding this position since 20 years. He started his career as Research Assistant/Assistance Librarian at University of Mysore. He is a Life member of ILA and IASLIC. He has about twenty five professional articles to his credit.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mahesh V. Mudhol

Dr. Mahesh V. Mudhol (b.1954) completed his doctorate in LIS from Sambalpur University (Orissa). He has served as Librarian at N.I.O (CSIR). DMA-Panla, Goa and Documentalist at ISEC, Bangalore. Currently, he is with Department of Library and Information Science, Mangalore University, as Senior Lecturer. He is life member of ILA and IASLIC. He has about thirty professional articles and four books in LIS to his credit.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shri Umesha

Shri Umesha (b.1978) did his B.A. In second class and secured first class in M.L.I.Sc. From Mangalore University in 2002. Presently, he is working as Assistance Librarian at A.J. Hospital and Research Centre, Mangalore.
