Dr. G.L. Jain is working as Faculty Member of Commerce, Government Girls College, Tonk. He has acquired his Masters Degree in Commerce from Rajasthan University. He got his Ph.D. Degree in 1992. Dr. Jain has always been a popular teacher. His painstaking preparation, systematic and methodical presentation and effective use of the blackboard to highlight the main points of his lectures, have made him a highly respected teacher. His quiet competence and amiable disposition have won him many friends and admirers. He has been associated with the Institute of Social Sciences, based at Jaipur for the past eight years. He has been engaged in research in the areas of development economics, urban and rural development. He has travelled widely and has published books and articles in leading journals.
