ABOUT THE AUTHOR M.Y. Zargar

Dr. M.Y. Zargar is Associate Professor-cum-Senior Scientist, Division of Environmental Sciences, S.K. University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, Srinagar. He has a distinguished background in the fields of environmental and microbial biotechnology. Dr. Zargar has almost 20 years of research and teaching experience and is the author of over 60 scientific papers. He has been the Principal Investigator of several research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, New Delhi, Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi and J & K State Council for Science and Technology, Srinagar. Dr. Zargar is an active member of a number of national scientific organizations.
