The book ‘Bureaucracy to Bureaucrazy’ has been written in an interesting and lucid style on different aspects of the functioning of government machinery. Each story has a separate layout of events. All the stories have been placed in such a fashion that the reader gets an idea of the functioning of the bureaucratic machinery as a whole. The bureaucratic systems all over the world, more or less, are similar in character. In this book, the mechanism of working of bureaucracy, specially in India has been so elaborated that anybody concerned with bureaucracy can find out ways of improvement. Ankur Agrawal is a B.Tech (Manufacturing-Science & Engineering) from IIT Kharegpur and is doing MBA from ISB Hyderabad. He has worked for 4 years as Asstt. Manager, OSD to the President, Business Analyst, and Secretary to CEO in M/s Jindal United Steel In-Corporation, USA, Baytown, Texas, USA. He has published jointly two books entitled ‘Dadi ki Kahaniya’ & ‘Bureaucracy to Bureaucrazy’ in English.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR P K Agrawal
Dr. Pramod Kumar Agrawal has obtained his Masters degree in Business Management and Law. He was awarded the Doctorate in Law by the University of Allahabad. He has a book Land Reforms in India - Constitutional and Legal Approach, an edited volume Environment Protection and Pollution Control in the Ganga, and many articles published in various newspapers to his credit. Dr. Agrawal belongs to the 1976 batch of Indian Administrative Service of West Bengal cadre. He worked for about a decade in the District Administration and was for five years with the Ganga Project Directorate in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Wild Life, Government of India. At present, he is the Additional Director, Administrative Training Institute and Special Secretary, Government of West Bengal at Calcutta.
