ABOUT THE AUTHOR Raj Narain Desikar

Raj Narain Desikar (b. 1950) is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. A Doctorate in bio-chemistry, followed by advanced research in biochemical engineering at the University of Philadelphia, equipped him for the position of Chief Chemist and Research-in-Charge. Genetics, with a reputed American multinational negotiating for traditional healing herbs in the Himalayan foothills. He has also been acclaimed for his publication on ‘Anti-Carcinogenic Properties of Turmeric: Footnotes and Empirical Observations.’
