Ceylon: Coins and Currency: Memoirs of The Colombo Museum

The present book embraces the whole history of coinage and currency in the Sri Lanka (Ceylon). The book is divided into 14 chapters. The book contains several appendices namely Vinaya Commentaries and other Pali and Sinhalese works, Mahavansa and Tika, Works on Metrology, Inscriptions, Documents relating to the Portuguese period, and Documents relating to the Dutch period, and Documents relating to British period. The book contains additional Supplement in the end on each chapter alongwith an Index of words and Plates of the coins and currency.
