ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sujata Mittal

Dr. (Mrs.) Sujata Mittal is a gynaecologist of reput, her speical interest being in the field of Gynaecological cancers and women's diseases. She has served at some reputed organisations like Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, Tata Memorial Hospital and Jaipur Golden Hospital in the past, with distinction. Currently she runs her own nursing home at Rohini, Delhi besides being a visiting consultant at the famous Apollo Hospital. She is a regular invitee to reputed medical conferences conducted all over India and abroad. Some of the papers presented by her at these conferences have won her medals and awards. Some of these papers are also published. She is also a social activist committed to the cause of children and women. She runs an NGO by the name TARINI for fulfillment in this direction. This work of hers is also a step in same direction. Currently she is busy writing another book on diet of pregnant women.
