ABOUT THE AUTHOR V.S. Gupta

V.S. Gupta, former Professor, Haryana Agricultural University, is currently associated with the Department of journalism as an expert for post-graduate and doctoral programmes, and also as a member of Board of Studies, Research Advisory Committee and Academic Council. As the zonal/country representative for Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC), Singapore, from 1991 to 1999, he organized a number of regional seminars and national colloquiums. He was awarded UNDP Fellowship and was selected for Journalist Fellowship Award. Prof. Gupta has written, jointly and singly, twelve books and a number of manuals and monographs.
