ABOUT THE AUTHOR Balakrishna Aiyer

Balakrishna Aiyer was educated as a journalist and a student of international politics, but took a left turn somewhere around 1990 and ended up in broadcasting and digital communications. He did his post-graduate Diploma in Digital Communications from USA. He has computer-mediated communication at the university level and also provided media training for journalists, executives and other professionals. He has also been associated with some of the famous media organisations in India and abroad. Dr. Aiyer is also famous as a communication consultant, writer and researcher. He has penned a number of research papers on digital media and global communication in professional journals of repute.
