Educational Guidance

The world today ails from inadequate education and lack of occupational guidance and training to the younger generation. The result is unemployment, illiteracy and ills of mismanagement. There is, in fact, frustration and anxiety among the youths. It is because of the dearth of occupational guidance, schools and colleges in the developing and underdeveloped countries. The present study deals with many of the aspects of vocational education, which is essentially required to combat the modern problems related to the socio-economic life of mankind. The present book shows and analyses the significant elements concerning the most needed vocational education. It stresses the need of homemaking education for solving the problems of family life, industrial education and training, management of labour force, trained workers and teachers, planning of programmes for resources and expenditure, and this study gives us adequate material to know the changing concepts and trends in vocational guidance.
