K. M. MEERA SHERIFFA BEGUM, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. She is a life member of Professional bodies like Institution of Engineers (India), Indian Society for Technical Education, and Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. Dr. Meera has also contributed several research articles to international and national journals and is actively involved in research and continuing education programmes. To her credit, Dr. Meera has handled Modernization and R&D Projects sponsored by DST and MHRD.

N. ANANTHARAMAN, Ph.D., is Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. He is a life member of Professional bodies like Institution of Engineers (India), Indian Society for Technical Education, and Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. Professor Anantharaman has contributed several research articles to international and national journals and is actively involved in organizing continuing education programmes and workshops for teachers and practising engineers. He has also handled Modernization and R&D Projects by various agencies. In addition, Dr. Anantharaman has chaired technical sessions in national conferences.
