This book narrates the enriching experience of the author as the State Election Commissioner of Bihar of conducting the elections to the panchayats and municipalities in the state, which were held after more than two decades. It makes an objective analysis of the entire election process and the response of the state government and the district administration, including the police. Also, it tells the unherd ways taken resource to by the author, in order to tackle the challenges and hurdles in ensuring free and fair elections in a volatile state like Bihar.
