The significance of agricultural marketing has increased with the onset of the process of globalization. In this study the author has examined dynamics of agricultural marketing at the micro level by farm size categories. The study is based on fieldwork data of 400 households and elaborate secondary data of wholesale prices of various regulated Mandis in Haryana. As, production and marketing conditions are not much different across various regions in India, the results of this study would be relevant for the country as a whole.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Parmod Kumar

Dr. Pramod Kumar, a lecturer with a teaching experience of eight years, is presently working as visiting faculty in the Department of Economics, Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab. He is a teacher of repute and is engaged in teaching and research with many reputed institutions. He is doctorate in economics with dissertation on "Efficiency Evaluation in Banking Sector". He has several research papers to his credit. Presently he is doing a project on, "Service Sector Efficiency Evaluation Techniques". This book is the outcome of his long teaching and research experience.
