In the absence of documented records the common people are not fully aware of the nature of working of these political parties and their political participation in the governance of the state. Now a new trend has emerged in the state under which many researchers are trying to political parties in Manipur with an objective to visualize the possible future course of political trend and people. ‘Federal Party of Manipur’ which constitutes the subjects of this study has a distinctive objective, ideology and agenda which are drastically different from other political parties.
