This book chronicles the experiences of 44 international pharmaceutical firms that invested and operated in China during the first 20 years of China’s open-door policy and economic reform era. It is the result of the author’s Ph.D research project, which resulted in him being awarded the Research Achievement Prize.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jiang Fuming
Dr. Jiang Fuming has given presentations at numerous conferences and research seminars in Australia and internationally. He has published 15 research papers in refereed academic journals, besides having authored and co-authored three books. His recent research has focused on the internationalization of Chinese firms and multinational corporations’ strategies in Australia and China. Dr. Jiang serves on the editorial boards of a number of international journals. He is a member of the Academy of International Business, the Academy of Management, the Australian and New Zealand International Business Academy, and the International Academy of Business and Economics. Dr. Jiang is now chairing a number of Ph.D., supervisory panels and supervising Ph.D., students at the Australian National University, Australia.
