In this book, Professor N. Radhakrishnan, a Gandhian scholar and activist of international repute, analyses in six well-researched articles with convincing clarity and conviction the relevance of Gandhi’s work and philosophy against the backdrop of the existing and emerging national and international scenario. The Gandhian model of a nonviolent, moral social order can be ignored only at the peril of human survival, and values like tolerance both in private and public life have to become the guiding principles as Gandhi insisted for co-existence, argues the author.
