ABOUT THE AUTHOR Bhawna Pokharna

Dr. Bhawna Pokharna teaches Political Science at Government Meera Girl's College, Udaipur. She did her M.A. in Political Science in 1993 and was awarded gold medal for standing first in the merit list. She completed her Ph.D. in 2001. She was awarded Junior Research fellowship by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi in December 1995. She has participated in national and international seminars/conferences and contributed papers in various books journals. She was awarded a Minor Research Project by UGC in 2004 which was successfully completed in 2006. At present she is working on a major UGC Research Project.
