Indian English Poetry: Recent Explanations

Indian English Poetry, now-a-days, has got its own identity and stature away from its early image of being derivative and imitative, as an offshoot of British Literature. It is much different from its western counter part in theme, language, writing style, imagery and so on. Every poet has source of inspiration on influence and it is this source which makes Indian English Poetry 'Indian'.
