ABOUT THE AUTHOR Nitin Mehrotra

Nitin Mehrotra (born 1975) is a business analyst and has been associated with knowledge management industry for four years. A keen learner and contributor in various forums, his sound understanding of Mathematics and Finance is leading him towards becoming a prolific writer. Nitin is an engineer from REC Nagpur (1995-1999) and MBA Finance (1999-2001) from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad. He is an NCFM (NSE Certification in Financial Markets) holder in Capital Markets, Mutual Funds and Derivatives Module. At present, he is associated with iGate Global Solutions, as a Functional Consultant in Bangalore, supporting their key accounts for the Financial Markets Group. Prior to joining iGate Global Solutions, he worked with Irevna Research Services Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, as a Senior Research Analyst. Irevna is now acquired by CRISIL. Before joining Irevna, Nitin worked with The ICFAI University as an Associate Consultant and was later associated with Cygnus Economic & Business Research as a Consultant. His previous publications were in the areas of Financial Markets, e-Finance and Indian Pharmaceutical Sector. Before joining ICFAI, he worked with Global Trust Bank as a Management Trainee in Mumbai. His areas of interest include Financial Markets, Sector, and Equity Research.
