ABOUT THE AUTHOR Anoop Tripathi

The Executive Director, Indian Petroleum Publishers, Dehradun. He is dynamic, enthusiastic, with a vision to disseminate knowledge to professionals involved in oil and gas exploration and production. He even aims at developing information resource on refining, distribution, petroleum products, manpower involved and other general information on petroleum industry with a focus on India.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Lakshman Singh

An upstream petroleum consultant, with over 44 years of experience in exploration and development geology and reservoir engineering. He has authored the book “Oil & Gas Fields of India”. He superannuated in 1991 as Director, Institute of Reservoir Studies, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., Ahmedabad, India. Subsequently, he was Chief Petroleum Advisor to Hyundai Heavy Industries of S. Korea and has carried out evaluation of exploration blocks, and small and medium sized fields offered for lease by Government of India on behalf of several private companies.
