This directory covers important institutions, universities, colleges and other expertise in the country has two parts. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Girish Kumar

Girish Kumar is a Fellow in Political Science at the Centre de Sciences Humaines, New Delhi. Earlier, he worked with the Institute of Social Sciences and also at the LBS National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. The earlier collaborative work of the author: West Bengal Panchat Elections 1993: A Study in Participation (New Delhi: Concept), 1996.
