ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shah Alam

Dr. Shah Alam, is presently working as Lecturer in Psychology and Coordinator of P.G. Diploman in Guidance & Counselling, Centre for Distance Education at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He started his career as a research assistant and served various institutions, Punjab Police Academy, National Council of Educational Research and Training etc. He obtained M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. Degree in Psychology from A.M.U. Aligarh. He also did Post Graduate Diploma in Educational and Vocational Guidance from NCERT, New Delhi. Before joining AMU, Aligarh he was working as Student Counsellor in R.I. E (N.C.E.R.T.), Ajmer. He has published more than 16 research papers and articles and attended more than 30 seminars/conferences/workshops. He has completed five major and minor research projects. He is also a research awardee by UGC.
