Janak Pandey is Professor and Head, Centre of Advanced Study in Psychology, Allahabad University. He has also served as Director, G.B. Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad (1996-2002). Recipient of many national and international fellowships, he has published extensively on social and environmental issues that are relevant to socio-economic change in developing countries.
