The rapid change in the agro ecosystem leaves a snag in the establishment of harmony the discard of the disturb ecosystem due to wide usage of chemical pesticides fertilizers and synthetic plant growth regulators. The long term effect were overlooked hence boom of one time become bane for the ecosystem degradation. At the present context it has become indispensable to look for sustainable crop protection management approaches for disease management and the present book is an effort to this direction. ABOUT THE AUTHOR P K Sharma
Dr. P.K. Sharma is position holder of Rajasthan University in M.A, M.Phil (Geography) and Diploma of population ecology. He has been awarded by UGC, JRF and SRF. Dr. Sharma has got his Ph.D. in geography in 2005 from University of Rajasthan. He is member of many national and international academic societies like-RGA, IGI, NAGI and CHEC- India. He has also participated and presented paper in various national level seminar/conferences. He has six research paper n his credit published in national and internation journals. Presently he is working as lecturer in geography he is working as lecturer in Geography at St. Wilfred’s P.G. collage, Jaipur.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shahid Ahamad
Dr. Shahid Amad, Ph.D. born on July 1, 1972 in a very poor Muslim family of village Gaharauli, The. Maudaha, Distt. Hamirpur, U.P. Dr. Ahamad completed his B.Sc. (Ag.) from N.D.U.A.T. Kumarganj, Faizabad in 1994; M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Pathology from C.S. Azad University of Agri. And Technology, Kanpur, U.P. in 1996 and Ph.D. (Botany) from C.S.J.M. Univ. Kanpur, U.P. in 2003. He worked as a Research Associate with Prof. A.K. Sarbhoy for three years (1997-2000) in the Division of Plant Pathology, I.A.R.I., Pusa, New Delhi. He was appointed as Jr. Scientist (Plant Pathology) in 2001 in the SKUAST-Jammu at Regional tenure of nine years, he has published more than 70 publications in his credit. He has published more than 30 research papers in the journals of national and international repute, 20 popular articles in different magazines, 5 book chapters, I review/conceptual articles, 7 bulletins and 10 research abstracts. Recently he has been conferred with SPPS Fellow-2005 by the Society of Plant Protection sciences, Division of Nematology, IARI, New Delhi.
