Principles of Environmental Education

These days there is extra emphasis on the education of environmental issues. Words and phrases like ecology, conservation, monitoring of nature, equilibrium of species, sustainable development, deforestation, ozone layer depletion, green house effect etc., are in vogue. These words and issues are finding nowadays their place in the curricula of students. This book aims at providing a framework of principles of environmental education to students and educators both. This book has been divided into fourteen small chapters. With discussion over issues like these it is hoped that the students and educators of ecology and environmental issues will find the book interesting and useful for them.
