The niece of the last Maharani of Jaipur, Manju Shivraj Singh has many happy memories of family life at the City Palace of Jaipur. Her involvement in the many glamorous banquets and parties that were held at the Palace has given her a unique insight into the sumptuous food and lifestyle of the Indian royalty in its heyday. A keen and creative cook herself, Manju has already published The Spice Box and is currently compiling a microwave Indian Cookbook. Her aunt, now the Raj Mata (!ueen Mother), is the author of the best-seller A Princess Remembers.
