This book was planned and written with the assumption that the reader would have had no previous knowledge of surface chemistry. The prime objective of the author in this text has been to reflect the basic principles of the subject besides the meaning of properties such as surface, interfacial energy, kinetic and tension. Recent development of the subject has also been described in very well manner.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR A. Singh

A. Singh is an experienced researcher and a seasoned teacher since 1988 having thirteen years teaching experience at Post Graduation level. After taking his graduation degree from Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur (formerly Gorakhpur University) and Master's degree (in Ist division and second position in order of Merit) from Lucknow university, Lucknow in 1975, he took his Ph.D. degree from the Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. Since then he is engaged in fulfilling his studies on organometallic chemistry. At present he is working as Senior lecturer in M.M.H. College, Ghaziabad. He is guiding many research Students for their Doctorate degree.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR R Singh

D.R. Singh is presently working as Director of ICAR-NRC for Orchids, Pakyong, Sikkim and has research experience of 23 years. He has published 130 research papers in national and international journals of repute besides 06 books and 40 book chapters. He has also developed 17 varieties of different horticultural crops. He is the recipient of ten awards at international, national and state levels.
