Maiti: Professor of the Dept. of Botany, University of Kalyani, W.B. having 30 years research experience on floristic diversity, systematic study and other branches of Botany and 22 years of teaching experience.  He is the co-author of books 'Trees of the World'  Vol. I. 'Garden Plants in Colour-Trees' and 'Dictionary of Horticulture'  Vol. I-X, apart from publishing more than 88 research papers in different journals.
